Amazing Cacao Bliss Balls

It is so important to have nutrient dense, wholesome snacks throughout the day.

These are the most amazing cacao bliss balls! If I run out the door and won’t be back for awhile, I often grab a couple to have on hand in my handbag.

If I have some a batch in stock, you are more than likely to receive one after your session with me. They are little balls of power and sustenance and if I have a busy day giving sessions, one ball may well be my lunch at times. I often get comments about how delicious they are

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almonds
  • 1/2 cup pepitas
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/3 cup desiccated coconut
  • large pinch of Himalayan sea salt
  • 8 dried Medjool dates
  • 1/2 cup sultanas
  • 1/4 cup goji berries
  • 1/2 cup raw cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • raw honey to taste (optional – approx 2 tbsp depending on your desired taste)
  1. In a food processor, blend dry ingredients first, and then pour into a mixing bowl.
  2. Add your wet ingredients and dried fruits into food processor and blend until it is like a paste.
  3. Add the dry ingredients  and blend well, or mix with your hands in the mixing bowl. Once this is all blended together and it can hold together as a ball when rolled, then roll into balls.
  4. You can choose to leave as is or roll in desiccated coconut, cacao powder or cinnamon.

This is such a simple recipe, feel free to add in a Food Grade Therapeutic essential oil like peppermint or orange oil or a small amount of your favourite super food, such as Acai or Camu Camu.
